If your school accepts CLEP, you may want to ask if they accept DSST exams as well. Formerly called “DANTES”, these exams aren’t as widely recognized, but they cover many subjects not covered by CLEP.
In my opinion, the whole process of taking DSSTs, from scheduling to test-day experiences, is less refined than CLEP. The process is very similar, but payment and scoring are different.
